Me Cecile Ringgenberg , doctor of law of Zurich University and attorney at the Bar of Geneva, is personally dealing with all affairs entrusted
to the Law Office.
After several years of practice in international humanitarian law at the ICRC in Geneva and in Africa, she joined the Union Bank of Switzerland – today UBS AG – in Geneva and Zurich in a traineeship followed by a poste in the succession department of the bank .
In 1976 she qualified as attorney at the Bar of Geneva and in 1979 she opened her own Law Office in Geneva following three years of practice in the law of international organization at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN).
Among her achievements are a decision on documentary credit obtained with a collegue at the Federal Tribunal, making jurisprudence (BGer 4C.66/2004 of 01.06.2004) and her successful representation of victims in numerous international investment frauds.
Working in French , English, German and Italian with her correspondents in France , Germany , UK , USA , United Arab Emirates and Hong Kong , she is at ease in international situations.
She is a member of the Ordre des Avocats of Geneva (ODA), the Swiss Federation of Attorneys (FSA) and the Europäische Anwaltsvereinigung (DACH). Furthermore, she speaks every year at the “Symposium on Economic Crime” at Jesus College in Cambridge (GB), her latest subjects being “The Rise and Fall of Swiss Banking Secrecy” and “Money Laundering through the Art Market”.
